FUSION HITS UP PAPPY'S JUNK & STUFF
Ok...so we left Orlando at midnight and drove through the night in a 15 passenger van, thanks to the Knosts! 13 people in a 15 passenger van w/ all of our stuff & that included Taylor's ridicu
lously huge bag that was in everyone's way the entire drive. CRAZY!! We stopped for the bathroom pretty much every 30 minutes at the beginning of our drive until everyone crashed. (Everyone except Will) We arrived in Asheville around 11am & stopped in at Missio Dei (livinguncommon.org). They were in their new building, so it was a pretty exciting day for them. We went to a park in Asheville & joined them for their baptism & some lunch. Finally, we left & headed to our final destination...the students would say they were READY TO GO!!!Monday we went to Nascar Speedpark where Jenny began the crash testing on Brent...poor Brent...he was bumped/crashed all night long! Abbie had a nascar boyfriend, tried to get a guy fired, and still had time to do some serious racing! There was fighting, flurting, awe...a typical youth activity! ;p
Tuesday we went White Water Rafting with Appalachian Outdoors. No body was lost to the rapids. CRACK ON CRACK!!! That's all I have to say about that.
Wednesday we hiked to Grotto Falls in the Smokey Mountains National Park. Lucas tried to roll down the mountain, but it was nothing too serious. lol! The falls were amazing!! Later that night, Abbie, Melissa & Allison put on a dance/singing performance...it was cute.
Thursday we headed home in the morning & it seriously took all day with 14 people & their luggage crammed into a 15 passenger van. I think that everyone was glad to be home, but looking at the pictures...it'll make you miss our first little retreat to the mountains!
Great talks about God and the pursuit of a relationship with Him, and we learned about the importance of prayer (Thank you, Kurt). Journaling w/ Bible readings seemed to be a hit along w/ the music reflection time. FUSION seemed to really enjoy digging deeper together!

camp was definately a growing experience. i learned alot about myself and the people who also went. im so thankful to have people like brent a jessica who will always be there for anyone who needs a friend.
hey you guy's it's tater i had a blast at camp and can't wait to start plannin next year's trip i can't thank you guys enough for being there for me when i needed it the most and i can't wait till this sunday so i can be baptized...you guy's are the bomb.. see ya'll later
